Candice Amat, DPT specializes in gentle, evidence-based pelvic floor physical therapy to help people of all genders and life stages overcome pain, urinary or bowel symptoms, pelvic organ prolapse, postpartum recovery, sexual dysfunction, and core/diastasis concerns. Candice combines one-on-one assessment, personalized treatment plans, education, and hands-on techniques to restore function, reduce pain, and rebuild confidence.

Candice is a physical therapist with 13 years of experience treating pelvic floor diagnoses. She graduated from the University of Florida in 2009 with a Clinical Doctorate in Physical Therapy. Candice started her career in orthopedics but after having her first child in 2012 and getting pelvic PT herself she quickly found her passion for serving this population. She then trained in NYC and treated for 4 years in the city. She now resides in Tampa, Fl and runs her own private practice. Candice has a passion for teaching and empowering clients to learn about their pelvic floor and advocate for themselves along with way.
